To my Murray family, I am at a loss of words during this sorrowful time. Please know that I am thinking of all of you and praying for your peace and comfort. There are so many fond memories I hold of my Uncle Mike. Ones in particular are of him making me laugh even at my grumpiest. All he had to do was give me the "look"! I will miss you dearly Mike... "Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow" God Bless

Maureen and family, The name "Murray" is connected to Church and children. So many have benefited from the people who carried that name. Mike was a "rock" for kids. His quiet, but strong demeanor made kids feel safe. Children at Black Hills Children's Home found night to be a scary time, having Mike watching over them allowed them to have peaceful, restful sleep. I don't know how many children are beter today because of Mike and all his relatives. Be assured that God welcomes this man as someone who made children a priorit.

To Angie, and all of Mike's family and friends. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Mike will be missed by his friends and neighbors in the Black Hawk area. I will remember Mike as my neighbor, a friendly man, with a quirky sense of humor. May God welcome him home, and ease the grief of his passing, for those who knew him.

Dear Murray Family, I am so saddened to hear of the loss of Mike. I was a classmate of his at Winner High School. Your description of him in the obituary is exactly as I remember him... quiet, gentle, good listener, etc., etc., etc. What a great classmate he was. I am saddened that I did not know him as an adult. I loved the fact that he worked with children... I, too, spent my working years as a teacher of special needs students. I can tell by his picture that he never lost his warm smile and great looks.... all the girls loved him in high school. My thoughts and prayers are with you. May you find some comfort in your memories of him and continue to tell stories about him, etc. His love and arms will be around you forever. With warm condolences to all of you, Diane Larsen Dietz, Class of 1965.
