June 19, 1950 - July 24, 2017

Mike Humke

Elm Grove, La

Please accept my condolences for the loss of your beloved husband and father. I was always the younger cousin whose goal was to be bigger than my cousin Bill, while I'm sure physically I achieved that wish, I'm not sure I ever measured up to my cousin Bill or the man he became. He will be missed. Mike Humke

Linda and family, our deepest sympathies. But Linda, we know where Bill is. Loving his new life in Heaven. Such a caring, wonderful man. I so cherish the time we stayed with you and Bill the summer before we moved. We had some good laughs sitting around the dinner table. May God give you all peace and comfort. Dear Linda, I was so afraid to ask and in preparation for my trip up to Sturgis, I contacted Mike from Arkansas. He just informed me about Bill's passing. It just won't be the same. Linda, I hope you are holding up. How good to know that he IS with our Lord, though your family is left without him for this time. You are in my prayers. I will probably see you in less than a week if you are going to be in town and hosting the campground. Hugs and kisses and tears....We all loved Bill. Nancy Knoll(720)206 8556

Dear Linda, Bert & Bart...Bill will always be fondly remembered in our family, and our many years of baseball family we shared. Always happy, and smiling, he was a joy to be around. Our family knows all too well how much you are hurting. I can only imagine he and John preparing that beautiful Baseball diamond in Heaven...we have to find peace in knowing they are no longer suffering or in pain. May he find eternal rest and peace, and may your family... find peace in that.
