Charles Edward DeLeeuw

June 10, 1958 - November 5, 2017

Bruce Cain

Rural, Oklahoma

Even though I was the elder, Charle always called me Lil' Bro. One of the great things I can say about Charlie is that he would always be there to help, if you needed it and sometimes when you didn't :-). We moved away from Rapid City 1998. We were having a terrible time loading my motorcycle into a small trailer because of a very narrow ramp. Charlie got on the bike, laid a strip of rubber and went right up into the trailer. One day while motorcycle riding, Charlie did a wheelie from a stop light right in front of a police officer down near the post office. Well, we didn't see each other very often he and I would exchange emails and phone calls on a regular basis. Charlie said he was drawn to me because I told him what I thought and not always what he wanted to hear. May God Bless you Charlie.

Debbie, Heather, and Thomas--I was very saddened to hear the news of Charlie's untimely passing. My brother was very blessed to have you as his life partner. I know you made him very happy. I thank you for that. May God comfort you today and in the days to come. Rejoice that you will be reunited one day and our lives here are only temporary. Thank you for the very touching tribute on Facebook. He will be missed.

Oh my I am very saddened to hear the news of Charlie's unexpected passing. I was honored to have met Charlie through my dad Kelly while at the race track back when I was just a little girl, that friendship blossomed into so many years of him picking on me and being an all around great guy "like an uncle". He always had some funny story to tell and always kept life interesting to say the least :) Charlie you will be missed by many and believe me you touched so many lives in so many ways you will never be forgotten. Deb & family my thoughts and prayers are with you today and in the days to come. Charlie was definitely "one of a kind"!!

We have some fond Memories of you Charlie. You always had a twinkle in your eyes and one never knew what you were up to.. From snakes to? But you had a love of the Lord that was strong and though you will be missed we know you are in a better place. Till we meet again...

Debbie, Heather and Thomas, I was so shocked and saddened to hear about Charlie. The man made me laugh!! What a kind, gentle soul. I pray for peace and rest for you all. Rest easy, Charlie.

Went to High School with Chuck, aka "Hooker". He, Dan Hardy and I spent time in the hills along Nemo road. He was larger than life then, and always was up for anything. Very sad to hear of his passing.
