So sorry for your loss. Bernice was one of the first people I met when I moved into the teacherage at the Stoneville School in 1981. She invited Miss Reiger and I to come and pick plums on the ranch and then taught us how to make jelly. It was such a delightful experience for me as I had always wanted to learn how to make homemade jelly. She was always kind and friendly. May God wrap you in His comforting arms during this difficult time. Keeping you in my prayers.

Lemmel family: Although I was not a close friend, I wish to extend my condolences as your families gather to celebrate your Mom, Grandmom's life. As a former resident of Faith, I often was in the presence of Booge Lemmel and family as well as the family of Val and Larry Brown. Great families. Be blessed and prayers for all as you walk your continued journey without your loving parent and guardian.

Prayers for your family. Bernice always made me feel special and loved. Making the little yellow house in Faith our "town house" for a year. I remember the fresh maple longJohns that she would make and take to faith as we went to school. I always wondered how early she had to get up to have them ready.

I got to know Berniece through Joanie Lemmel. We sat together at many rodeos and other functions. Berniece was such an endearing person. She always had a smile and was so proud of her family. Berniece was one of a kind and we are all lucky she touched our lives. My deepest sympathy and condolences to Spud and all Berniece's loved ones.

When farming and ranching in the Mud Butte area from 1986 - 2006 just east of the Stoneville Rd, the Rick Lemmels were my closest neighbor amd later met his Dad and Mom; and have nothing but very pleasant memories of them. RIP

ďLife isnít about waiting for the storm to pass; itís about learning to dance in the rainĒ . This quote reminded me of Mrs. Lemmel; with all of her life accomplishments she certainly did learn to dance in the rain! She had a life well-lived.

BJ Cole

Rapid City, SD

So sorry to hear of Bernice's passing-and at such a momentous time as BHSSR week! It will always serve as a reminder to the foundation she provided you all with. It's difficult to steer an errant ship in the storm after the anchor has been lost, but your "anchor" she will, surely, remain. All my deepest sympathy and comfort to Chrysta, Rorey and rest of the family at this challenging time. What was that Bernice had told you about challenges, in your younger days? You KNOW how to manage to get through this!
