I so loved Marcella for her ready hugs whenever I would see her! During the many visits between our homes as I was growing up and numerous encounters at church and the Senior Center in the more recent past, she always greeted me with a smile and loving attention. She was a such a good person! My warm sympathy to all her family and the many friends that will miss her. Her memory will rest gentle on my mind.

my heart broke when mom told me the news of your mom's death. Such a beautiful vibrant and loving person, Working with Marcella was one of the best experiences I could have had while being a young mom. I heard many a tale of younger days on break or working beside her. She always patted my hand when she saw me in church and winked. She showed us all that a little hard work never hurt. I'm so glad to have had this beautiful lady be my friend. My prayers and thoughts are with you all. Shaun, Dan and Scott and everyone she will definately be the brightest star in heaven

Sympathies to the Skinner family. Marcella helped so many of us young people in Sturgis get our starts in the working world when she managed the A&W and put up with us all. She was always friendly and filled with grace and kindness.

I am so sad that Mrs Skinner has passed. Mr & Mrs Skinner were always very kind to me. They used to grow a great vegetable garden and told me I could go into their garden anytime and help myself. During the terrible storm, Mrs Skinner sent over a bunch of candles so I could see in the dark. I wish her well on her journey to see her beloved husband. She will be missed.
