You taught me to keep on smiling and you were right .. life is so very short ... we had fun together and I'm happy for that !! Love you Dad ... tell Mom hello and thank you for a beautiful childhood. I miss you ... your daughter Vicki Jo

Many memories visiting Uncle Lowell and Aunt Sybil in the 1970's on our way to Wyoming. He was like my dad's older brother and they would share hunting and fishing stories for hours over beers. In the early 1950's after my dad dayton and uncle Rod played a Friday night football game, he would wake them up Saturday morning to go pheasant hunting in Carroll Nebraska. They were sore but loved every minute of it. I will cherish my memories of uncle Lowell and that smile of his forever.

So hard to believe my Dad is gone. I'm sure there was quite a family reunion in heaven. My sister and I had a very good childhood. Whenever I get upset about things that life throws at us I always remember what Dad told us, keep smiling girls 'cause you never know. I love you Dad tell Mom hello ❤️

Lowell,Thank you so much for signing on the dotted line to serve our country. As a retired V.A. nurse, veterans are important to me. Thank you for tolerating me running off with Vicki to ride our horses in the early morning. I will always remember how your eyes would light up when I visited with Vicki and especially the time I brought you some Cold Stone ice cream! You were a special and will be missed.
