I worked with Con at Hersruds. I don't know how many times I fell for this - I'd start down the hall from the shop & he'd holler at me. I'd go back and he'd say "How far would have gotten if I hadn't hollered at you." Such a character. My thoughts are with you.

Proud to call Con a friend. He was a long time listener to kdsj, and I will be playing some of his favorite Beach Boys songs on 980-am Monday morning.

So sorry to read about Con's passing. My husband and I bought a used vehicle at Hersrud's and continued coming there for service on the vehicle for 5 1/2 years because of Con and his always-upbeat attitude and he never tried to recommend service unless it was necessary. He treated us well and no car dealership service will ever compare nor will most be fortunate enough to have a service manager like him. Because I didn't care to drive that far for service later on after trading cars, I left their dealership's service but it was done reluctantly because of how he treated his customers. My sincere sympathy to his family. Lorraine

Con was a good man, smart, funny and full of P & vinegar. We had many laughs when he worked at Hersruds and I was at Black Hills Special Services. Honest and straight forward. A pleasure to work with. So sorry for your loss. May he rest in peace.

We will always remember Con with the fondest of memories because of the twinkle in his eyes and his ready smile. It was a great pleasure to work with him at the mine and to see him at his workplaces. He will be missed.

Many people pass through our lives, some leave a memory, few leave a lasting impression. Con was one that left a huge impression on me, always a kind, friendly person. I will miss him.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. My daughter worked with Con for several years part-time. It takes a special man to mentor and make an impact on a young person. Con was such a man. She speaks fondly of him and always made an effort to try to visit him when she was back in town.We share your loss. Sue and Alicia Miller
