Our prayers are with the family of Reverand Christopherson who married us in 1970 in Sturgis. What a wonderful man -- so sorry to hear about your loss.

Our hearts go out to you at this time. Pastor Chris was a real mentor for our youth during the time he was here in Sturgis, and our congregation was really blessed to have him as our minister. I can remember him saying "Oh, come on, you can do better than that" when we were challenged with a new liturgy. His voice carried us through, and we finally mastered it---but not near to the extent he did! He is now singing with the angels.

Pastor Chris...how he put up with us goofy kids for three years of confirmation classes is beyond me! Luckily for us, he had a lot of patience, a lot of wisdom, and a great sense of humor! I'm grateful for all he did for us, and my prayers are with you.

Our deepest sympathies to Anne, Jon, Susie and family, Pastor Chris was a wonderful man and had great patience. He allowed us to be teenagers but still taught us. His voice was very inspirational and now he is singing with the angels. He will be greatly missed.

Hi Jon, So sorry to hear about your dad. I remember one time he came up to me after a choir concert in high school and complimented me on my solo. That was very kind of him. That's how I remember your dad. Sally

God Bless You Pastor Chris! Pastor Chris was one of my few mentors in life. I can't say why I had so few mentors in life, but I have to say my Mother had a lot to do with it.She had such high expectations of people, that only a few really stood out. Pastor Chris was one of these Angels. I've thought of him and his family too many times to count in life. It really saddens me that he is really gone. He will always hold a very special place in my heart(right next to my Mom,Dad, and Casey.) Jon said it very well,Good night Dad. but in my(or our case), God night Pastor Chris, see you next week. Love You!!! Margaret (Anderson) Brunmaier
