Dear Sandy, I was saddened to read of the loss of your mother. You and yours are in my thoughts at this time of loss. Warmest Regards always, Laura T :o)
Red, Sandy, and Rod. Work still keeps me on the road so I try to stay in touch with local news on the RCJ web page. I was saddened yesterday to read of your loss. Donna and I have many great memories of Darla. Probably the fondest are the times spent around your kitchen table sharing a cup of coffee and friendship. Sometimes we would get the "Oh you kids!" comment but she would always listen. And someone had to have taught that dog to come out and yawn when it got too late. Although she always denied it we were never really sure... She lives on in our hearts.
Darla Mae's family: My thoughts to you all! I loved visiting with Darla and always teased her by calling her Darla Mae (even though that's not her name) and then she would call me Kimmy Lou! I will miss you Darla! Red, remember you have lots of arms around you now and we will always be there for you! Sandy and Rod...may you have lots of comfort to know that your Mom always praised you both! She loved you both and was so proud of you guys! She was forever telling me about you both! I will forever miss my "Darla Mae"! Kim Matz
Red, Sandy, Rod & family, Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We have many great memories of the time spent with you all in Deadwood along with Fred & Betty.

To Red, Sandy and Darrel, Rod and other family: I just read the obituary for Darla. I am sorry to see that Darla is no longer with us. We offer our condolences to you all. It has been a long time since our last contact and some fun times sitting and talking or playing cards. I am remembering Shannon lying on the bed in South Lead and Max protecting him from Dad and all the men. So remember the good times that you have had and make some more.
